Get Assistance from Valley Community Pantry
“We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty.” – Mother Teresa
Community Pantry is here to help you!
The Pantry is primarily an emergency food bank, however we do have other resources from time to time to help with issues such as shelter and utilities. We also have the ability to refer you to the appropriate resource if we do not have what you need available.
The Community Pantry is committed to being open Monday – Thursday except holidays from 9 am to 11:30 am to respond to all requests for emergency food from anyone who is seeking such help. The Community Pantry is also ready to help, if funds are available, when assistance is needed: at time of eviction; at a time of utilities shut-off; at a time of need for emergency housing; or when a referral is needed to another helping agency because of particular troubling circumstances. Doors close at 11:30 am so please arrive early.
We have new procedures and intake forms for helping you get assistance. Simply print out the appropriate forms below, complete them and bring them with you to our office. We require new registration every year in January whether you are new or an existing client.
