Our Services

Our Services

Our primary mission is to provide emergency food and shelter to local residents in need. We assist families in low-income brackets as well as those on fixed-incomes or those who are unemployed or underemployed. Each year, we provide services to thousands of families, veterans, single mothers, domestic violence victims and homeless individuals and families in the valley and surrounding areas.

Food Distribution

We are open Monday thru Thursday – 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Food distribution varies as donations, funding and community needs fluctuate. No  appointment is needed for food distribution. If you have questions regarding the process or your eligibility to receive assistance, please visit our office.

Emergency Shelter, Rent and Utility Assistance

In addition to food, the Community Pantry receives funds from various grants and agencies. When funds are available we are able to provide emergency shelter and rent assistance, as well as assistance for electricity, gas and water utility bills by appointment only. For more information and requirements please visit our office.

Disaster Relief Services

The Hemet-San Jacinto Community Pantry maintains an ongoing collaboration with the cities of Hemet and San Jacinto as a part of their emergency and disaster plan. In the event of a disaster, our staff and resources are available to provide vital food distribution services to our community.
