Volunteers Valley Community Pantry

The Community Pantry employs a full time Executive Director and a part-time staff, utilizing the services of over 65 dedicated volunteers putting in over 1500 hours per month to handle thousands of pounds of food and process over 900 families each month. Our volunteers range between 12 years to over 70 years of age.

Pantry Service Statistics: July 2011 to June 2017.
Food Assistance: Provided over 185,200 people with 3 meals per day for 2 to 3 days
Rental Assistance: Provided 36 rental assistance
Motel Assistance: Provided 33 Motel Assistance
Edison Assistance: Provided over 741 Electrical Assistance
Gas Assistance: Provided over 468 Gas Assistance
Water Assistance: Provided 174 Water Assistance
Auto Gas, Gift Cards, Prescriptions and Misc Assistance: Provided over 51
Volunteers Hours: We have up to 75 loving and caring volunteers who have put in almost 198,000 volunteer hours
Food Donations: We currently receive almost 390,000 lbs. of food from various stores/markets, churches, service organizations, businesses, and the community. Over the past 6 years we have received over 1,825,000 pounds of donated food.
